Peter J.N. Linnerooth National Service Award

Description

In remembrance of Peter J.N. Linnerooth who worked for the U.S. Army and Veterans Administration as a psychologist, this award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions in clinical research, service delivery, program development, administration, and/or policy contributions in the areas of suicide prevention, post-traumatic stress disorder, or provider burnout related to working with active duty military, veterans, and military families.

Eligibility

Nominees will have demonstrated their commitment to improving the lives of those who serve or have served in the military as well as their family members. Nominees do not need to be members of Div. 18 to be considered for an award, but they must be a member or an affiliate member to receive the award.

How to Apply

To submit a nomination, please provide the following:

  • Two letters of nomination
  • Curriculum vitae

Calls for division award nomination materials are emailed via the PUBSERV membership list early spring annually. The submission due date is May 31st annually. Please submit nomination materials to president@publicservicepsych.org.
