The Communications Team would like to say thank you to the 1,125 APA members who have already joined the Division 18 group on APA Community!
For those of you who haven’t joined yet, all you need to do is visit https://community.apa.org/ and log in with your already established APA credentials (your same login information that you use to renew your membership etc.).
There, you can join the Division 18 group, and also groups for other divisions or interest groups (e.g., the Early Career Network, or the Annual Convention page) based on your interests.
The APA Community group page for Division 18 (on a web browser or mobile app) is still the fastest way to get news and major updates about happenings within the Division and across the various Sections/Committees all in one place. We’ve been using this platform for over a year (and plan to do so moving forward), rather than sending out an email-based communications newsletter like we used to!
Once you’re logged into APA Community, you can adjust your notification settings to get instant, weekly, or monthly summary email updates from Division 18 – or turn off all notifications and check the page on your own schedule!
Anyone can post on APA Community, on our “Live Feed” or by engaging in a discussion on a “Forum.” We strongly encourage Division/Section/Committee leadership to contribute to the Division 18 feed and/or forum — posts aren’t limited to the Communications team!
