Student membership in Division 18 is the fastest growing membership group!
The number of student members has nearly tripled since 2020.
Joining Division 18 as a student is a great way to learn about the vast possibilities in public service psychology, network with some of the best and brightest psychologists across public service sectors, and get your foot in the door of APA leadership and governance. Other perks of student membership include access to our APA journal (Psychological Services), newsletters, virtual events, our membership email lists, and our mentorship program. Membership is also required to qualify for Division and Section awards and Division 18 sponsored APF grant funding. Being part of Division 18 also looks great on your CV and helps show graduate programs, internship sites, and future employers that you’re invested in giving back to the field.
Students can join Division 18 at a significantly reduced rate compared to full members. Annual dues for students are $25. Recent graduates who transition from student to full member also quality for a reduced rate of $99 during their first post-graduate year.
